Stool made from sleeper reclaimed railway wood. Handmade and designed by Designer-Maker Omid Jahankhani. With no use of adhesives or fixings, the piece is assembled using pine dowel joints travelling the width of the material.
This geometric chair was designed to work with material in a primitive manner.
My intention was to preserve the materials raw nature, only processing the length with a handful of straight saw cuts to create its bulky, sculptural form. Omid Jahankhani.
